WHY THE INGREDIENTS WE DON’T USE CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE
100% natural blend of premium ingredients has proven benefits for sensitive skin. Even ingredients that are classified as ‘natural’ can irritate and/or dry out delicate skin. For this reason, you can rest assured that this baby skincare will never contain;
Parabens
PEG compounds
Polysorbates
Petrochemicals
Sulphates (SLS)
Mineral oils
Synthetic colours, fragrances & preservatives
Cheap or drying fillers like water
Known naturally derived irritants such as Cocamidopropyl Betaine
We know that little ones love a bubble bath, but we choose NOT to include the commonly used natural foaming agent Cocamidopropyl betaine because of its links with skin irritation and contamination issues during manufacturing. Instead, coco-glucoside gives Hair, Bath & Body Wash range a lovely, gentle bubbling action.

HOW TO TREAT BABY ECZEMA
Bubbas with eczema have the kind of skin that struggles to retain enough moisture. This makes using natural, non-irritating and super-hydrating baths and body products absolutely essential. And to limit further irritation, it’s useful to consider everything that may come in contact with your baby’s skin.
We recommend using Australian Goats Milk range exclusively for at least a couple of weeks to monitor how your little one’s skin responds. Depending on the severity of the condition, you might like to try moisturising three times a day, at least in the initial stages, to restore much-needed moisture to the skin. Baby Bottom Cream is especially wonderful for helping to soothe eczema patches. The extra-moisturising blend contains pure shea butter, calendula, Aloe vera and olive fruit oil. Combined with 100% fresh Australian goat’s milk (no powders here!), this ‘miracle cream’ will calm and soothe flare-ups – some customers report seeing a huge difference overnight.
NATURALLY, SOOTHE A VARIETY OF DRY SKIN CONDITIONS
100% natural baby skincare ranges are successfully soothing a variety of baby skin conditions along with eczema. These include cradle cap, baby acne and mild teenage acne, too.
CRADLE CAP
Cradle cap is a type of dermatitis that affects young babies in the first three months of life. Caused by a build-up of natural oils and dry skin. Cradle cap looks like thick, waxy, yellow crusts on the baby's scalp and sometimes in the eyebrows. The skin can also look red – and this can indicate that there is eczema underneath the cradle cap.
Thankfully cradle cap is not itchy, painful or contagious – and it should resolve itself by three months of age. However, there are gentle ways to treat cradle cap that can help clear it up sooner.
SUGGESTED TREATMENT FOR CRADLE CAP
Range: Goats Milk or Lavender & Chamomile
Products: Hair, Bath & Body Wash and Moisture Lotion (or Belly & Baby Oil)
Begin by applying Moisture Lotion (or try Kakadu Plum & Marshmallow Belly & Baby Oil) to the cradle cap affected areas before putting bubs to bed for the night. This will help loosen the crusts.
The following morning, gently cleanse your bub’s head with Hair, Bath & Body Wash, making sure to rinse thoroughly. Carefully pat bub’s head dry with a fluffy towel and then use a soft brush or comb to gently lift the crusts off.
Repeat the process each day until the cradle cap is gone.
A baby’s oil glands remain active until about 3 months of age so if the cradle cap reappears, simply repeat the process.
If you have any concerns about your baby’s cradle cap, see a trusted natural therapist, GP or paediatrician.
BABY ACNE
Baby acne (also known as acne neonatorum) is a common skin condition seen in babies in the first few months of life. Typically appearing on a baby’s cheeks and forehead, these tiny pimples are thought to be caused by maternal hormones.
SUGGESTED TREATMENT FOR BABY ACNE
Range: Goats Milk or Lavender & Chamomile
Products: Baby Bottom Cream
After bathing your baby using a gentle bath wash, apply Baby Bottom Cream to baby’s face and anywhere else the baby acne appears.
Use daily to keep baby’s skin nourished and moisturised.
Never attempt to pop or squeeze the pimples.
If your baby’s skin is not clearing up, chat to your Maternal Health Nurse.
TEENAGE ACNE
Teenage acne is caused by a surge in hormones during puberty which can cause the sebaceous glands to become overactive. Many of the products aimed at teenagers are designed to dry out the skin using harsh astringents. This can result in the skin producing even more oil to try and replace what has been stripped away. It can create a vicious cycle for self-conscious teens.
SUGGESTED TREATMENT FOR MILD TEENAGE ACNE
Range: Kakadu Plum & Marshmallow
Products: Hair, Bath & Body Wash and Belly & Baby Oil
Cleanse skin each morning and before bed using the Kakadu Plum wash, gently massaging into the face with a soft face washer. No scrubbing! Rinse face with warm water.
Rub a few drops of the Kakadu Plum oil between the fingertips and gently press into the skin to restore moisture. A little goes a long way.
Continue this routine daily and monitor how the skin is responding.
Consult a trusted health professional if the skin does not appear to be improving.
