The art depicts the Dreamtime story of the Ramindjeri. Confronted by a lack of water, the ancestors uprooted a tree to reach a water supply before dragging the tree across country to create a river. On the journey, their dancing feet formed water ponds, giving a supply of freshwater across time to all the people and animals.
